In Isolating Waters by Jagrati Marwaha

Jagrati is a Delhi based photographer who describes her work as an Elixir of Art. She uses an array of mediums like writing and painting in her process before she creates images around her ideas. Photographing women and non-men has been a consistent theme in her work. “People feel intensely around me, those who never faced a camera tell me that they’ve never felt more comfortable. Sometimes I make images with the intent to gift my subject a perspective they wish they knew before, for them to truly see the beauty they possess. I like to approach them with a female gaze, that is ever embracing and accepting.”
